Many dogs find themselves in the care of the Humane Society of Union County due to no fault of their own. This was the case for Henry, a very kind adult male lab mix. Thankfully, he was soon adopted and begins his new life in his forever home.
ADOPTED October 2015
Hi everyone! My name is Henry! My foster mom says I am a love machine. I think she says this because I like to snuggle and give lots of love. I’m a big boy weighing in at 61lbs. The vet thinks I’m around 2-3yrs old. I have been neutered and had all my shots (I didn’t even whimper). I hear them saying that I look like a yellow Lab mix. Probably because I like to do Lab things like sit or stand on your feet or lean into you as you are petting me. I obey my commands and I think I’m a really good boy. I like other dogs and people of all ages. I’m not quite sure what I would do if faced with a cat though. I haven’t been able to try that out yet. I am completely house trained and crate trained, although I don’t see why I need to go in a crate. I’m totally trustworthy in the house. I don’t get into things I shouldn’t. I keep hearing how pretty my eyes are. The ladies keep saying my eyes look like I’m wearing eye liner (ummmm, I’m a boy. I don’t wear make-up!). I LOVE going on walks! I’m a good boy at that too. I’m not a high energy dog and I think I would fit in great with any family! I like it here at my foster home but I would really like a home to call my own. Please put an application in to adopt me.
